‘’I phoned the central bereavement services number yesterday morning and spoke to a lady in the Poole Office about locating my grandfather's grave in Christchurch, she took my details and said she would pass them to the relevant person. Two hours later this person had located the grave I was trying to locate and he sent me a map of the cemetery with a mark showing the grave. This morning I have been to find the grave which would not have been possible without the help of the groundsman who took time out to help me. I was unsure whether it would even be possible to locate a grave that was very nearly 100 hundred years old and I would just like to thank everyone concerned for their assistance.
